.Fire at 1900 Stevens Avenue

Shot on 8MM with a Sony Handicam CCD-TRV15 mounted on an inexpensive 35MM camera tripod.

Shot at about 4:30 am, in the Stevens Square neighborhood of South Minneapolis.

I called KSMP-TV Channel 9 and was able to share my video with them for use on their Sunday evening newscasts on 2/28/99. I'm ashamed to admit that they weren't the first station I called, but they were the only one who showed any interest. I'll be sure to call only Channel 9 next time. (I beat two of their competitors to the scene by over 45 minutes, and the competitor who is only 9 blocks from the scene of the fire never bothered to return my phone call.)
